Superbowl Sunday

I'm so sad the Colts lost! Poor Peyton. Oh well, our little party was still fun. Our spread included velveeta cheese dip, vegetables and hummus, maple syrup-cheese-bacon biscuits, festive Oreo balls, and Shara brought some crumbly caramel chocolate bars that were fabulous!

Naturally, the girls watched little of the game and spent most of the time talking.

And the boys watched the game while trying to hear what we were talking about :) .

This is my friend Alexa's baby, Manhattan. She's so precious! She makes me want to have a little girl so bad!

So we had fun, and I'm sad to think that this is probably the last year we'll have a Superbowl party with these friends :( ... at least until we can get them to move to Texas ;) .

And since there was so much talk today about the football player Peyton Manning, it made me think about my little Peyton Manning Simmons, my puppy who died two years ago. He was so precious and even though we only had him for a month I still miss him.
